Quality Committee
AAN COMMITTEES
The Quality Committee promotes high-quality, safe, and patient-centered neurologic care by overseeing the AAN’s quality framework of evidence-based guidelines, quality measures, and Axon Registry®. The Quality Committee’s oversight includes: developing, disseminating, and implementing evidence-based documents; developing quality measures based on the evidence; and collecting data in Axon Registry on the degree to which neurology providers implement these best practices. The Quality Committee uses these data to facilitate quality improvement, patient safety, and shared decision-making in neurologic practice and to improve AAN’s guidelines and quality measures programs.
