Our well-being is directly related to the well-being of our patients. In the practice of neurology, we serve people with complicated, life altering conditions. This requires compassion, complex cognitive work, rapid decision making, and so much more. Burnout can rob us of these crucial skills. It’s imperative that we work in environments that optimize our opportunity for wellbeing so we can be the neurologists that our patients want and deserve.
