We never could have anticipated the trajectory of the upcoming year upon embarking on the Emerging Leaders Program in October 2019. Looking back, it is difficult to think of a year in which clinical leadership worldwide could have been put to a tougher test or one in which the value of the ELP could have been more apparent.

2020 Emerging Leaders Program Graduate
Emerging Leaders has been the single most impactful experience of my professional life. My work with the AAN is incredibly rewarding, pairs me with amazing people, and actually helps prevent burnout. None of this would have been possible without Emerging Leaders!

The Emerging Leaders Program is only a year-long program, but the opportunities for learning, growth, and networking go beyond this first year. Emerging Leaders has opened many other doors within the AAN and beyond, allowing me to serve my community, my patients, and my profession. The program has tremendously helped my wellbeing as well.
