The Enhanced Resident Leadership Program for adult and pediatric neurologists is designed to provide introductory leadership training to a highly selected group of residents.
By attending the AAN Annual Meeting, the program will provide recipients with the opportunity to augment their education and training and to network with other neurology professionals.
Applications are currently being accepted until October 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Fourth-year adult residents and fifth-year child residents in the US or Canada can apply.
The resident must demonstrate commitment to medical education, advocacy and/or leadership.
The resident must be an AAN member at the time that the scholarship is awarded.
The resident is interested in service opportunities within the AAN.
Selected recipients will serve as mentors to the Medical Student Diversity Annual Meeting Scholarship recipients during the AAN Annual Meeting.

Customized Experience: Required and suggested programming and events to attend to increase engagement with content and colleagues to create a unique Annual Meeting experience
Participants receive mentorship from a Leadership Program participant during the AAN Annual Meeting.

Clarifications:
Applicants can only accept one 2025 AAN Annual Meeting scholarship. Past Resident Scholarship to the Annual Meeting recipients can apply.
Programs can nominate one resident per program to be considered for the opportunity.
Selected recipients are required to be present Saturday, April 5 through Wednesday, April 9 (departing after 12:00 p.m. PT)
