Measure Calculation Example
Dr. Walker had 20 visits with patients with muscular dystrophy between January 1 and December 31 of the measurement year. This is the denominator. Three patients declined to respond to questions. These patients are removed from the denominator.
Of the remaining 17 patients, ten of them were queried about pain using an instrument. This is the numerator.
