Measure Calculation Example
Dr. Flores had 10 patients that were less than six years of age with global developmental delay of unknown etiology that were seen between January 1 and December 31 of the measurement year. This is the denominator. One patient was already under the care of a geneticist. This patient is removed from the denominator.
Of the remaining 9 patients, two had chromosomal microarray ordered. This is the numerator.
Quality of care = 2/(10-1). Dr. Flores has a score of 22% for this measure.
