Measure purpose: Ensure patients are provided ET support resources.

The numerator: Patients aged 18 years and older who were provided information on relevant patient support groups, advocacy groups, or essential tremor specific education in the 12-month measurement period 

is divided by

The denominator: patients aged 18 years or older diagnosed with ET.

There are no exclusions for this measure.

Measure Calculation Example

Dr. Zhang has 100 patients between January 1 and December 31 that were 18 years and older and diagnosed with ET. This is the denominator. 

Of the 100 patients, Dr. Zhang provided 33 with information on relevant support groups, advocacy groups, or ET education.  This is the numerator.

Quality of patient care = 33/100. Dr. Zhang has a score of 33% for this measure.
