Measure Calculation Example
Dr. Reddy sees 100 patients aged 18 years and older diagnosed with ET from January 1 to December 31. This is the denominator.
Four patients are unable to be assessed and do not have a caretaker present to provide information. These patients are removed from the denominator (100-4) as they meet exclusions.
Of the remaining 96 patients, 34 were assessed for depression and anxiety in the measurement period. This is the numerator.
Quality of patient care = 34/(100-4). Dr. Reddy has a score of 36.2% for this measure.
