Measure purpose: Ensure quality of life is routinely assessed for patients with Essential Tremor (ET)

Measure Calculation Example
Dr. Jones sees 100 patients aged 18 years and older diagnosed with ET from January 1 to December 31. This is the denominator.
Seventeen patients are unable or decline to complete assessment. These patients are removed from the denominator (100-13) as they meet exclusions.
Of the remaining 83 patients, 14 have a quality of life assessment completed in the measurement period. This is the numerator.
Quality of patient care = 14/(100-13). Dr. Jones has a score of 16.9% for this measure.
