The Leadership University Subcommittee reviews and develops the curriculum for self-directed leadership development to reach a broader audience for both virtual and in-person learning.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and execution of Leadership University
- Support the leadership development needs of all neurology professionals (i.e. APPs)
- Develop regional and virtual programming and curriculum
- Collaborate with the Leadership Development Committee’s other subcommittees for enhanced alumni engagement and cohesion
- Attend two subcommittee meetings each year
- Participate in conference calls with other subcommittee members on relevant issues as they arise throughout the year
- Serve on ad hoc work groups as assigned
Selection/Appointment
Members are appointed by the AAN President Elect and can serve a maximum of three two-year terms.
Estimated Time Commitment
Two meetings annually and conference calls as needed.

The subcommittee is comprised of 15 voting members, including the following:
- Senior Neurologist
- Advanced Practice Provider
- Leadership Coach
- Ableism Representative
- Medical Student
- Additional members assigned at large
