Leadership Engagement Subcommittee

The Leadership Engagement Subcommittee is responsible for developing opportunities and resources for sustained engagement and ongoing leadership development of leadership program graduates. This subcommittee has the primary responsibility for gathering and maintaining data with which the Leadership Development Committee can measure and report its effectiveness. This subcommittee reports to the Leadership Development Committee.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Identifying strategies based on data collection results to inform the Leadership Development Committee's goals and objectives
• Create meaningful and continuous engagement with the AAN
• Create a bi-annual alumni newsletter
• Offer leadership program graduates ongoing training and other leadership resources
• Increase the social media presence of AAN Leadership Programs and their graduates

Selection/Appointment

Members are appointed by the AAN President Elect and can serve a maximum of three two-year terms.

Estimated Time Commitment

Quarterly conference calls as needed.
