eLearning Subcommittee
The eLearning Subcommittee evaluates the current eLearning portfolio and analyzes the environment to make recommendations for future programs. The Distance Learning Subcommittee focuses on pairing educational technology with content while applying validated learning theories.

Job Description
Oversee and evaluate the AAN's eLearning portfolio including:
- On Demand Suite
- NeuroBytes Suite
- NeuroLearn Archive
- NeuroSAE
- Neurology Question of the Day
- NeuroReady Product Suite
- RITE
- Anti-Racism Training
- Patient Safety Training
- NeuroPanels (Pilot)
- All other online learning modules
- Analyze the eLearning CME space to identify new educational programs
- Oversee the Learning Management System and analyze emerging technologies to identify which to onboard at the Academy
Selection/Appointment
The eLearning Subcommittee is comprised of 9 members and a Chair. Appointments are made by the AAN President.
Meeting Schedule
The eLearning Subcommittee meets at the Annual Meeting in the spring and in Minneapolis in the fall. Conference calls are scheduled to support program development as needed.
Estimated Time Commitment
Three to four hours per month plus one to two face-to-face meetings per year.
