Clinical Research Subcommittee
The Clinical Research Subcommittee deals with all issues related to clinical research, including clinical research training, Annual Meeting programming, relationships with certain aspects of funding organizations, and maintenance of other clinical research resources.

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Work with the Science Committee to engage representatives of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and its institutes.
- Develop strategies to promote formal clinical research training to residents and fellows.
- Develop and promote clinical research programs at the AAN Annual Meeting.
- Develop strategies to promote clinical research training and activities outside of the AAN Annual Meeting.
- Oversees and implements the Futures in Neurologic Research Scholarship, Medical Student Research Scholarship, and Resident Research Scholarship.
- Plans and implements the Futures in Neurologic Research Bootcamp at the AAN Annual Meeting.
- Promote clinical trials in neurology and patient recruitment in clinical trials.
Meeting Schedule
Members will attend four meetings per year. The fall meeting will be in-person in Minneapolis. The other three meetings will be virtual.
Estimated Time Commitment
Four hours per month plus meetings.

- NINDS Representative (named at the discretion of the Science Committee Chair in collaboration with AAN President; term limit is in accordance with the NINDS role)
