Future Year's Dues Payment Policy
The AAN will accept future year’s dues payments for up to five years at the current (or next year if established) year’s rate for all calendar year members (Advanced Practice Provider, Business Administrator, Neurologist, Physician Affiliate, and Researcher). Future year’s dues payments are non-refundable and will not be considered under the general membership refund policy.
The AAN will accept future year’s dues payments for up to five years, or until the residency or fellowship training end date (whichever comes first), at the current (or next year if established) year’s rate for all academic year members (Juniors). Future year’s dues payments are non-refundable and will not be considered under the general membership refund policy.

Membership Dues Refund Policy
The purchase of AAN membership for both new and existing members is generally non-refundable, and all future year’s dues payments are non-refundable. Exceptions may be made for the following and is at the discretion of AAN.
- Members who have already renewed their membership but apply and are approved for Senior membership prior to the current year’s Annual Meeting, are eligible for a partial refund of the membership dues paid, minus the current year’s cost for the Neurology journal subscription.
- Members who are dissatisfied with membership and contact the AAN within 30 days of applying for or renewing membership may be eligible for a refund. The AAN will review member benefits utilized and determine if a refund will be granted.
