Medical Student Diversity Scholarship to the Annual Meeting
About
This scholarship offers US medical students from underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds in medicine the opportunity to attend the AAN Annual Meeting. The scholarship allows students to explore career options in the field of neurology, and gain access to mentors during the AAN Annual Meeting. This exposure to neurology's best and brightest and the intense educational experience are intended to make neurology a more attractive career option.
The AAN has long had a goal of increasing diversity among its members. That is why the AAN is proud to support the Medical Student Diversity Annual Meeting Scholarship as a major step in that process.
