Research Program Subcommittee
The Research Program Subcommittee oversees the components of the AAN Research Program, including but not limited to request for application (RFA) and the creation and expert review process. This subcommittee also develops and manages AAN grant collaboration and endorsement.

Description
The Research Program Subcommittee manages the AAN Research Program.
Responsibilities
- Manage the American Academy of Neurology Research Program including but not limited to:
- Creating and approving Request for Applications (RFAs) for research program
- Providing a cursory and expert review of Research Program applications
- Appointing volunteer expert reviewers for Research Program application process
- Other yearly duties as needed
- Assist in identifying top funding needs and priorities
- Provide resources for researchers at all career levels
Meeting Schedule
There will be four meetings annually: three virtual and one in-person during the fall in Minneapolis.
Estimated Time Commitment
Two hours per month (excluding in-person meetings).
