Transition to New Membership Database
The AAN is transitioning to a new membership database May 2-14, 2024. Certain processing activities and functionality will be unavailable during this timeframe. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prepare for this important transition.

Q: How do I join the AAN or renew my AAN membership?
A: We are unable to process any new member applications or renew memberships between May 2-14. Please consider joining or renewing before May 1 or after May 14.
Q: How do I check my CME credits?
A: You may continue to access and complete education courses between May 2-14. All CME earned during this timeframe will not appear immediately in NeuroTrackerTM or your AAN transcript. CME credits earned should appear by mid-to-late May.
Q: Will the ABPN receive my CME credits?
A: All CME credits earned between May 2-14 will not immediately be sent to the ABPN; however, if you have opted to have AAN CME credits automatically sent to the ABPN, they will be sent in mid-to-late May.
Q: How can I update my address or change my phone number?
A: We are unable to process any membership profile changes between May 2-14. This includes any changes to address, phone, mailing preferences, or general contact information. These changes can be made after May 14.
Q: I forgot my password for AAN.com. Can I change it?
A: Passwords for AAN.com cannot be changed between May 2-14. You will be able to reset your password after May 14.
Q: Can I renew my Continuum Subscription?
A: We are unable to process Continuum® purchases between May 2-14; however, you may contact the publisher directly for assistance, or purchase your subscription through the Continuum® website. Be sure to select the “Price Type” of “Member”!
Q: Can I access my publication subscriptions during this time?
A: You can still log in to AAN.com and access the publications that are included with your AAN membership, or to which you subscribe separately.
Q: Can I purchase 2024 Annual Meeting on Demand?
A: Only AAN members and nonmembers with existing AAN accounts can purchase the 2024 Annual Meeting on Demand product between May 2-14 through the AAN’s Online Learning Center. Please note that new accounts cannot be created during this transition timeframe.
Q: Why can’t I access Synapse member communities?
A: The SynapseSM member communities and the mobile app are scheduled for maintenance between May 9-14. All capabilities will resume after the maintenance is completed.
